Will The Flight Attendant season 3 happen?

The Flight Attendant season 2 just premiered its finale, which gave us the answers to all those questions we’ve been asking all season!

This was a really big season for Cassie. Not just in terms of how many murders she gets tangled up in, but with her personal growth. She’s struggling and not in the perfect place she hoped she would be. But by the end of the season, we see her accept that and she continues on her journey to sobriety.

The season 2 finale reveals Dot was the mastermind behind the View Master, and also the one who killed Will in Berlin. The corrupted regional director has been selling access to CIA records for years. We also find out what Jenny’s deal is. Apparently she’s in love with Cassie’s killer ex-boyfriend Feliks, so she tried to get rid of the flight attendant who she thinks is standing between her and that master manipulator.

Of course fans of the series are already wondering if HBO Max is going to be bringing back the show for more.

Will The Flight Attendant season 3 happen?

Right now, the streamer hasn’t confirmed whether The Flight Attendant is coming back or whether the second season was the end. Season 1’s finale aired on Dec. 17, 2020 and HBO Max announced its renewal just a day later. So it’s very possible that we’ll be getting news about a potential season 3 very soon!

The nice thing is that season 2 ended in a way that feels satisfying, even if the show isn’t renewed for a third season. It tied up most of if its loose ends and there aren’t any big questions left unanswered.

The HBO Max series is based on a book of the same name by author Chris Bohjalian. He only wrote the one novel, so season 2 was based on the television show’s writing team, not events from the book. If a season 3 were to happen, then once again there’s no book to reference. I mean the writers did a great job and told an amazing story in The Flight Attendant season 2. I’m sure they would do just the same for a season 3!
