What time is Spy x Family episode 8 coming out?

Who’s ready for another great episode of Spy x Family?! We know we are because this anime never fails to put a smile on our faces and make our weekends that much more enjoyable.

The most recent episode of the popular anime series had to be one of the cutest episodes yet. From Loid Forger being super protective over his daughter to a certain someone developing a huge crush on a fellow student, we often found ourselves blushing at how adorable these characters are. It’s safe to assume there are even more sweet moments where that came from!

A new episode is heading our way in a few more hours, and you’re not going to want to miss a single second of what’s to come, especially because we’ll get to know more about a brand-new character.

Spy x Family episode 7 recap

At the start of episode 7, we are joined by a very nervous Anya who is getting ready to start her first day at Eden College. Anya apologizes for her behavior in the last episode that resulted in her receiving a Tonitrus Bolt. Loid tells her not to worry too much about her mistake so that she doesn’t put too much pressure on herself, but he does advise her to be a good girl and apologize to Damian, the student she sucker-punched during orientation. With that, Anya sets off to begin her first day.

At school, Anya meets up with her new friend Becky. The two briefly walk across the campus together before meeting Damian and his annoying friends. Anya uses this encounter to try to apologize to him. However, much to Loid’s frustration, Becky prevents Anya from doing so. Loid soon realizes he must be a lot craftier to ensure his daughter makes amends with his target’s second son.

In addition to dealing with her drama with Damian, Anya struggles to get along with other students and staying awake in class—two things that could result in more Tonitrus Bolts if she’s not careful. But she’s too focused on her current mission to give her all in school, mainly because of how much her apology means to Loid’s mission. If only Becky knew this as well.

Whether it was through sending signs in the sky or changing the words of her book, Loid was determined to convince Anya to apologize before the end of the day. Thankfully, after getting rid of Becky, the main obstacle, Anya acted accordingly.

At lunch, Anya took a visit to Damian’s table to apologize, but this proves to be easier said than as Anya suddenly becomes overwhelmed by hearing the thoughts of how his friends view her. Approaching her limit, she begins to cry while saying her piece. Fortunately, her tears sway Damian’s heart tremendously. So much so that he realizes the complicated feelings he feels for Anya are feelings of love. A bashful and embarrassed Damian runs off, rejecting her apology to save face. But deep down, her kind words meant a lot to him.

At home, Loid tutors Anya since she’s falling behind in class. Even still, Anya is put off by studying and storms off to her room in frustration. Yor advocates for Anya by informing Loid that it’s best to ensure Anya enjoys school for herself. She then shares her relationship with her younger brother, Yuri, to help her husband understand more. Because of Yor’s words, Loid remembers that Anya views him as a wonderful father and that he shouldn’t put too much pressure on himself or Anya.

Loid visits Anya but is touched when she sees she studied so hard she fell asleep at her desk. Tucking her in, he ponders what it’s like to be a part of an ideal family. (A thought we’re sure will be addressed later.)

Before the end of the episode, we are joined by Yuri and Dominic. Yuri asks his partner about the man who his sister is dating. However, he is extremely shocked to learn that Yor is married.

What will Yuri do after receiving this major update? Will Yor and Loid have to give the performance of a lifetime? We’ll have to tune in to find out!
