June is here! Of course, this means we’re getting a lot of new content on streaming. TV is a little on the light side since most of scripted television for the 2021-2022 television year has wrapped, and unscripted television began airing in May. But, that doesn’t mean the best shows coming out in June don’t include some fan favorites like Roswell, New Mexico, Animal Kingdom, and The Chi.

Still, you’re going to be streamer hopping this month as some highly anticipated releases will be debuting on Netflix, Paramount+, Hulu, Prime Video, Disney+, and Peacock. Among them are The Orville: New Horizons, The Boys season 3, Ms. Marvel, Only Murders in the Building season 2, and The Umbrella Academy season 3.

In the list below, you’ll find the 14 best shows coming to TV and streaming this month. We’ve included premiere dates, cast, where to watch, and synopses, so you know what to expect from the coming seasons making their debuts.

2. The Boys season 3

Release date: Friday, June 3

Synopsis:

Calm isn’t exactly the mood The Boys thrive in, but that’s what the last year has been like with Homelander neutralized. Things, however, take a turn when word of an Anti-Supe weapon reaches them. Equipped with a new mission, the group are ready to launch into action, but it’ll come with a clash with the Seven, a war, and chasing after Soldier Boy aka the first Superhero.

3. Roswell, New Mexico season 4

Release date: Monday, June 6 at 8 p.m. ET

Unfortunately for Liz and her friends, peace won’t last long in Roswell. It all starts with a sudden storm and then things go sideways in this small town that seems incapable of not attracting danger even in the final season of the show.

Now, if only powers could help her fit in at school and in her own family.

Queer as Folk returns for this generation as the series dives into the impact of a tragedy in New Orleans that the LGBTQIA+ community in the city must navigate. 6. First Kill

Release date: Friday, June 10

Synopsis:

Based on the short story by V.E. Schwab, this series centers on a love story between a vampire and a vampire hunter. Juliette comes from a prominent family but, in order to claim her rightful place by their side, she must make her first kill. Calliope is also a part of a powerful lineage, however, hers is that of hunters. The two teens are supposed to be sworn enemies, but when the time comes to eliminate one another or die trying, they find love rather than malice. It’s a situation that both their families find untenable.

7. Evil season 3

Release date: Sunday, June 12

Synopsis:

Season 3 picks up right where last season left off, in the aftermath of David and Kristen’s kiss. There’s no turning back, and the two will have to figure out their feelings and how to navigate them all while dealing with cases that keep pouring in. David is newly ordained and is a member of the espionage unit of the Catholic church, it doesn’t get much messier than that. Meanwhile, Ben will have to turn to his sister when unsolved cases begin to become too much for him and his brain begins to break.

8. Love, Victor season 3

9. The Summer I Turned Pretty

The Umbrella Academy may have stopped a doomsday from occurring in 1963, but just because something was prevented in the past, doesn’t mean all is right in the present. The timeline didn’t get fixed, in fact, it’s more messed up than ever. The Sparrow Academy didn’t exist before, but they seem to be Dad’s replacement family for the Umbrellas. Cue a clash that’ll have to be put to the side in the face of an entity causing destruction in the Universe. An entity they may have inadvertently created with their presence in this new world.

12. The Chi season 5

Release date: Friday, June 24 on streaming and on-demand for Showtime subscribers. Season 5’s on-air premiere is Sunday, June 26 at 9 p.m. ET.

14. Only Murders in the Building season 2

Release date: Tuesday, June 28

Synopsis:

Charles, Oliver, and Mabel are in a race to unmask Bunny Folger’s killer. But, they’d be able to move faster if they weren’t implicated in the Arconia Board President’s death. They’ve leapt from persons of interest to being accused of homicide. It’s an unfortunate reality for them that’s topped off by a rival podcast following their case. Now the trio aren’t dissecting the story, they are the story, and their neighbors all think they’re the ones who axed Bunny.
