So You Think You Can Dance season 17 episode 6 soundtrack: All songs
By Sabrina Reed
The Top 12 So You Think you Can Dance season 17 dancers put on their first competitive routines that would determine their fate on the show. Last week, no one went home in a shocking twist that even caught host Cat Deely by surprise. In episode 6, however, two dancers were sent home, leaving 10 to continue on in the competition.
Titled, “Girls Night Out,” this episode allowed the women in season 17 to shine as each routine was geared around their expertise. That made for a contemporary heavy show as three girls are skilled in that style of dance while the other three dance cha cha, jazz, and hip-hop.
Range of emotion and technique were on display and were supported by a wonderful soundtrack that included a group routine to Lady Gaga, a contemporary performance done to a Taylor Swift song, and a hype hip-hop dance to Mary J. Blige.
Here’s what songs were featured in the episode including which paired dancers did a routine to each song!
