Does Only Murders season 2 release weekly episodes or is it a binge-watch?

Who’s ready for more murder-solving mystery? Definitely the fans of Only Murders in the Building! The Hulu series’ first season was a hit, and I’m sure the highly-anticipated sophomore season will be just the same. But is Only Murders season 2 a binge-watch or will it drop one episode each week on the platform?

The leading acting trio, Steve Martin, Martin Short, and Selena Gomez, will reprise their roles as Charles-Haden Savage, Oliver Putnam, and Mabel Mora respectively. Martin is co-creator of the mystery-comedy alongside John Hoffman.

We met Charles, Oliver, and Mabel in the first season. The three are all residents of the chic New York apartment complex, Arconia. They soon find out they’re big fans of the same true-crime podcast. When a fellow tenant is found dead, declared a suicide by police, the mystery-loving Arconia residents believe there’s more. This leads them to starting their own podcast in the hopes of finding answers to the mysterious death.

If you need a reminder, the end of the first season ended with Mabel leaning over the dead and bloody body of Bunny Folger, Arconia’s board president! What will happen next? We’ll be finding out come June 28!

Is Only Murders season 2 weekly or a binge-watch?

Only Murders season 2 will have a total of 10 episodes. If you were hoping to zip through all of them in one sitting, that will, unfortunately, not be the case.

The first two episodes premiere on Hulu on Tuesday, June 28. Following that, only one new episode will be released weekly. The season finale is scheduled to be released Aug. 23 on the streaming service.

There’s much to look forward to as the first episode, “Persons of Interest,” will find the trio facing three challenges: Charles, Oliver, and Mabel are publicly implicated for Bunny’s death, they are now subjects of a competing podcast, and their fellow neighbors believe they actually committed the murder. This threesome will be working to clear their names and unmask the true killer.

Only Murders in the Building season 2 drops June 28 with the first two episodes on Hulu.
