Has Only Murders in the Building been renewed for a season 3?

Who knew actors Steve Martin, Martin Short, and Selena Gomez would make such a great mystery-comedy trio? I sure didn’t! But thanks to Only Murders in the Building, we got to see the great onscreen chemistry between the actors. And, they’ve all proven just how well they work together.

The highly-anticipated second season of the Hulu series returned June 28, and it brought with it challenges for this threesome. Charles, Oliver, and Mabel are publicly implicated for Bunny’s death. And they’re not the only true-crime podcasters in the area. They are now subjects of a competing podcast. And, finally, the Arconia residents have to deal with their neighbors who believe they are the ones who killed the former Arconia Board President.

The series has more than proved itself worthy of all the praise it receives. At the time of this writing, the second season hasn’t been released in its entirety yet. But it’s never too early to wonder whether another installment is in the works.

Great news, Only Murders fans! If you’re not ready to let go of the mysterious series, then you won’t have to. The show is coming back for a season 3! We haven’t even gotten halfway through the second season and the show has already been renewed!

The Hollywood Reporter shared the news, and said the streaming service noted the show is Hulu’s most watched comedy. It’s not really surprising given all the attention it’s received. The series has earned Golden Globe nominations, among others. Here’s to season 3, and perhaps beyond!
