Big Brother season 24 might have only kicked off a week ago today, but the season has already been plagued with controversy as viewers have witnessed the microaggressions and bullying of houseguest Taylor Hale.

At the heart of the latest chapter in Big Brother‘s history of toxicity and racially charged attacks against a Black contestant, has been season 24 houseguest Paloma Aguilar. Paloma’s actions in the house have caught the attention of national outlets, fans watching from home and former contestants who have spoken out on the treatment Taylor was facing in the house in recent days.

Verbal attacks against Taylor began almost immediately with viewers of the Big Brother Live Feeds quickly catching wind of conversations led by Paloma and other houseguests which targeted  Taylor for no legitimate reasons, labeling her as a “pageant girl” and proceeding to mock her walk, personality, and character in what’s become the latest instance in a history of microaggressions and racism in the Big Brother house.

Unsurprisingly, CBS remains mum about the treatment of Taylor and even chose once again to give favorable edits to those who have been at the center of her mistreatment in Wednesday’s pretaped episode. However, it seems the network will finally be forced to address Paloma’s actions this Thursday night following her rumored removal from the game.

Has Paloma been removed from Big Brother?

While CBS has not yet commented on rumors circulating on social media, several reliable Big Brother communities have reported Paloma Aguilar has been removed from the game.

According to Big Brother Network, the Live Feeds cut out on Wednesday evening and it was reported shortly after that Paloma had left the game. As the site reports, Paloma was last seen on the Live Feeds in the early afternoon hours and was not seen at any point before the feeds were cut.

During this time, houseguests Ameerah Jones and Kyle Capener were seen discussing their need for Paloma to remain in the game and how production was in conversation with her before the feeds cut to a different conversation.

In the time that has followed, additional reports have surfaced on social media with rumors swirling that Paloma has left the game and will not be continuing in the competition.

Did Paloma self-evict on Big Brother?

At this time, it has not been confirmed that Paloma self-evicted from the game; however, all signs point to this being the case. It is rumored that Paloma asked fellow houseguests to vote to evict her if the Backstage Pass twist found her in jeopardy of leaving. Hours later, she went missing from the Live Feeds, conversations began about her potentially leaving and reports finally broke that she had left the game.

Given CBS has opted not to take actions against her for her behavior in the game, including her actions against Taylor, it appears the decision was made by Paloma to self-evict — which is something we have seen in the game before.

Will there still be an eviction if Paloma was removed from Big Brother?

Although CBS has not commented on Paloma’s rumored exit, history has proven that the show does not tend to skip live evictions when houseguests have self-evicted from the game. As such, it’s likely we will still see an eviction on July 14.

When is Big Brother on tonight? (July 14, 2022)

As speculation regarding Paloma’s removal continues, fans are eager to see how CBS addresses the situation and what it could mean for tonight’s eviction episode. While it’s unclear what tonight’s episode will bring, we do know the episode is scheduled to air at 9/8c on CBS and will have an hour runtime.
