Teen Wolf the Movie Comic-Con trailer teases [Redacted]’s return

Five years after the cast of Teen Wolf last made their way to San Diego Comic-Con as part of the show’s farewell tour back in July 2017, the series made its triumphant return to the Hall H stage on July 21 for what proved to be an unforgettable panel for Paramount+’s Teen Wolf the Movie. 

Leading up to the film’s panel, fans had been optimistic Paramount+ might choose to release the first official trailer for the film as part of its Comic-Con panel and the streaming service did not disappoint!

The Teen Wolf the Movie Hall H panel brought with it the release of the first trailer for Teen Wolf the Movie with the world premiere footage not only teasing the film, but providing fans with their first look at the return of an iconic member of the Teen Wolf cast — and no it’s not a certain best friend.

Teen Wolf the Movie SDCC trailer teases Allison’s return

In the heart-pounding new trailer, Paramount+ tees up our return to Beacon Hills with glimpses of many of our favorite characters including Scott, Lydia, Derek, Parish, Mason and more. While it’s surreal to see all of our beloved Beacon Hills residents back in action five years after we bid them farewell in the show’s sixth and final season, the true highlight of the trailer comes with the stunning return of Crystal Reed as Allison Argent!

After a clearly shaken Scott tells Argent “Allison’s alive, she’s back,” the camera pans to a jaw-dropping sequence in which Reed suits back up as Allison for the first time since her departure from the show in season 3.

In a sequence reminiscent of The Batman‘s iconic “Chasing the Penguin” scene, we get a quick glimpse of Allison walking away from a burning car in the pouring rain — a quiver of arrows slung over her shoulder as a hint that Beacon Hill’s iconic huntress is back on the prowl.

Given Allison’s death in season 3, it’s going to be interesting to see how exactly she returns to the world of the living. All we know is that her return is clearly going to shake things up in Beacon Hills and be a highlight of the film!
