What is Justin Hartley’s next role after This Is Us?

For six wonderful seasons, Justin Hartley graced our television screens as Kevin Pearson on the NBC drama, This is Us. Could we be seeing him portray a new character soon?

It was This is Us that really made the actor widely-known to viewers. When we first meet Kevin, he’s not the best guy. Over the years he goes from the hotshot actor with a bunch of women around him, to a devoted father and husband by the end of the series. Talk about a 180! I also think portraying his alcohol addiction and going on the journey toward sobriety was a really well-written storyline.

The This is Us series finale aired in May 2022. Now, fans are already wondering what the actor’s next role on TV will be.

What is Justin Hartley’s next role after This Is Us?

Hartley’s next project will involve him starring and executive producing new CBS series, The Never Game. The network just gave the pilot order. That means a full season isn’t official yet, but we have hope the show will impress the execs!

According to Deadline, the drama is an adaptation of a novel of the same name by author Jeffrey Deaver. Ken Olin will direct, with Ben Winters set as the writer on the new show. The duo, along with Julianna LaRosa and Roxy Olin, also serve as executive producers.

The outlet reports that Hartley will play Colter Shaw, a lone-wolf survivalist. He roams the country, using his tracking skills to help citizens and law enforcement solve mysteries. He also has to deal with his own fractured family.
