Cake and sweets and frosting, oh my! MasterChef: Back to Win episode 9 was all about baking delicious desserts and pastries, which are a Guilty Eats favorite so you know we were drooling and craving many of these creations. At the end of the baking challenge, who was sent home? Please note there are spoilers ahead if you missed the episode as we are about to reveal who was eliminated on tonight’s episode of MasterChef.

Last week’s top chef, Christian, picked the order each chef gets to select the dessert they will be creating. How close did the chef’s desserts resemble what they picked? Again, if you haven’t seen the latest episode of MasterChef, please note there are spoilers below.

Who was eliminated on MasterChef tonight? (July 27)

At the end of this challenge, Ramsay selected three top chefs and the bottom three. Who disappointed the judges the most and who surprised them with the best dessert from the challenge? Who made these lists? Here are the top three chefs of the challenge: Dara, Amanda, and Michael. And from these top three chefs, the winner of the challenge was Dara. I’m super happy for Dara, who we had the pleasure of speaking with at the start of the competition.

The bottom three, were Tommy, Shelly, and Bri: And from these three bottom chefs, the one who was eliminated was Tommy. Both Tommy and Bri presented raw desserts, they did not look good at all. This is a pretty big competition to be coming in baking raw desserts, then again, what do I know, right? Shelly dessert wasn’t as bad, it did taste better than it looks, according to the professional chefs.

What do you think about Tommy’s elimination? Was he a chef you were cheering for or was it time for him to leave the competition? Which chef are you cheering on?

MasterChef: Back to Win episode 10, “Cooking for Horse Town U.S.A.,” on Aug. 3, only on FOX.
