Wedding Season release date, synopsis, and more

‘Tis the (wedding) season in a new Hulu show coming to our screens this fall! The U.K. original series, Wedding Season, will debut on the streaming service in the United States and on Disney+ globally.

The screenplay of the upcoming action comedy is written by Oliver Lyttelton. Director George Kane is bringing his creative skills to the series behind the scenes. Joining the production team are Chris Carey, Laurence Bowen, Toby Bruce, Brooke Posch, Lilly Burns, and Tony Hernandez, and Johanna Devereaux as executive producers.

Wedding Season release date

Wedding Season will begin streaming on Thursday, Sept. 8, 2022! The new series will be released on Hulu in the United States, Disney+ globally, and on Star+ in Latin America. All eight episodes will be released on premiere day.

Wedding Season synopsis

The story follows Katie and Stefan. The two meet and fall for each other at a wedding. They begin an affair, even though Katie already has a fiancée. Two months later at Katie’s wedding, her new husband and his entire family are murdered. The police believes Stefan is the one behind the crime, and he thinks Katie is the one who did it. The duo goes on an action-packed run across the U.K. and U.S., while trying to prove their innocence.
