Is Prey on Hulu a Predator movie or a series?

The Predator movie franchise is one of the most popular movie series there is. This is why, when Hulu announced that one of the projects they were working on was Prey, fans wondered if it was at all connected to the movies. Another big question is, will Prey be a movie or series? Is it going to be available exclusively on Hulu or other streaming platforms? Here’s everything we know.

First, what will Prey be about? As we previously reported, the sci-fi universe will be expanding with Prey, which will follow Naru, a skilled warrior who is extremely loyal and protective of her people. Prey also takes place about 300 years ago in the Comanche Nation, so this won’t be a sequel. Instead, we’ll dive into the past and learn some new things.

Is Prey on Hulu a Predator movie or a series?

Now, the question remains, is Prey a movie or is it a series? Directed by Dan Trachtendberg and written by Patrick Aison, Prey will be a film, produced by 20th Century Studios. You won’t need to purchase movie tickets to go see it on the big-screen, the movie will arrive exclusively on Hulu on Friday, Aug. 5.

While these type of movies are better enjoyed on the big-screen for the experience, it’s nice to be getting another movie we can all watch from our home. This means endless snacks and no expensive ticket prices.

The upcoming movie stars Amber Midthunger (as Naru), Dane DiLiegro, Ray Strachan, Stefany Mathias, Michelle Thrush, and Julian Black Antelope. Prey is rated R for strong bloody violence and the run time is approximately one hour and 39 minutes.
