3 guesses at who the murderer is in Only Murders season 2

Only Murders in the Building season 2 picked up right where season one left off, with plenty of mysteries and surprises to keep viewers engaged all season long. The series, starring Steve Martin, Martin Short and Selena Gomez, has been an instant hit on Hulu. In Only Murders season 2, the gang has tried to clear their names and figure out who killed the Arconia Board President Bunny Folger.

Bunny died during the final minutes of the season 1 finale and, since then, fans have been speculating who committed the crime. So, obviously, spoilers are ahead as we figure out our best guess as to who the murderer could be.

Who is the Only Murders season 2 killer?

Detective Kreps (Glitter Guy)

Going into episode nine, Detective Kreps is the prime suspect as it was revealed he is the glitter guy the gang has been after the past few episodes. Kreps.

The only issue with it being Detective Kreps is the fact that he lacks the motive some of the tenants in the building would have to kill Bunny. Kreps for the most part seems interested in getting the case solved and keeping the trio out of it as they are making his job more difficult. Could Kreps be the murderer? Sure, but right now he seems like the red herring option.

Alice

Alice, played by Cara Delevigne, has been an interesting character to watch this season. She did her best to get close to Mabel and has lied several times this season about her past. Alice also makes sense due to a theory connecting Marv one of the super fans to her.

While we do not know what Alice’s motivation for killing Bunny would be, the way Alice worked to get close to Mabel this season would keep that streak of the murderers getting close to one of the trio alive.

Plus the killer was after a painting. Alice would know the value of the painting Bunny had considering she herself is an artist.

Cinda Canning

Tina Fey has done a terrific job this season playing Cinda Canning. She is terrific as the queen of true crime podcasting and is willing to do anything to share a good story. Cinda would have the motive for one killing Bunny would keep her podcast going and would hurt her competitors Charles, Oliver and Mabel.

Killing Bunny and framing Mabel makes sense, and considering what her assistant Poppy said earlier in season two when she called Cina a liar who will do anything to tell a good story, it makes sense that she could be the murderer.

Only time will tell who the Only Murders season 2 killer is

Right now we have our three best guesses, but anything could happen in the next two episodes as evident by how much things changed in season one.
