The Invitation cast guide: Who is each actor playing in the 2022 movie?

We may be only a few months away from spooky season, but that doesn’t mean we can’t get our horror movie marathon started much earlier than usual. One film that we think you should add to your horror watch list is the 2022 film, The Invitation.

This new title is similar to the films Ready or Not and Would You Rather, in that it involves sadistic individuals messing with the minds and bodies of innocent people. However, the film puts a rather unique twist on the terrifying tried-and-true premise of “the protagonist that should’ve stayed home”.

"After the death of her mother and having no other known relatives, Evie takes a DNA test and discovers a long-lost cousin she never knew she had. Invited by her newfound family to a lavish wedding in the English countryside, Evie’s at first seduced by the sexy aristocratic host. However, she’s soon thrust into a nightmare of survival as she uncovers twisted secrets about her family history and the unsettling intentions behind their sinful generosity."

Game of Thrones actress Nathalie Emmanuel stars as Evie in this film, while Gossip Girl actor Thomas Doherty is playing Walter, the host that seems to be solemnly up to no good.
