We reached the end of another season of Only Murders in the Building, and boy was that last episode a good one! All season, Charles, Oliver, and Mabel have been working to unmask the killer behind Arconia Board President Bunny Folger’s murder. And now, we finally have the answer!

Before solving the mystery, this unlikely trio of friends had to deal with being publicly implicated for the murder, being subjects of a competing podcast, and dealing with their “lovely” neighbors who believed they were behind the murder.

So who did it? It was Becky Butler, aka Poppy who’s Cinda Cannig’s assistant! Did you see that coming? The finale also gave us a welcome surprise in the form of a guest cameo.

Actor Paul Rudd appeared as Broadway star Ben Glenroy in the Hulu series. So will the he reprise his role next season?

The actor is officially joining the cast of Only Murders season 3, according to Variety! It’s still not known whether he’ll be a series regular, recurring, or guest star.

Co-creator John Hoffman told the news outlet that his character is “a clear source” of many upcoming questions, and there are more twists still to come. What does the star of Oliver’s play have to do with all of that?

As we jumped ahead a year in the last episode of season 2, we learned that Ben isn’t getting along with Charles who is his co-star in the play. After a tense moment, Ben goes out on stage for the performance, but then he suddenly collapses and starts bleeding from his mouth. That means the star is dead!

Of course that leaves so many questions unanswered for the already confirmed third season. We’ll have to wait to find out what exactly is going on. Who killed Ben and why? That’s going to be up to Charles, Oliver, and Mabel to find out!
