This is Us actor Milo Ventimiglia is sticking to broadcast as he’s taking on a new role, this time with ABC. The Company You Keep has gotten a series order by the network, according to TVLine. Now, the talented star will wow us again by portraying a new character!

It hasn’t been long since NBC’s This is Us aired its finale. The drama series, where Ventimiglia played wonderful father Jack Pearson, came to an end after six seasons on May 24, 2022. Before the NBC hit, the actor starred as Jess Mariano in Gilmore Girls, Peter Petrelli in Heroes, and Sean Bennigan in The Whispers.

There aren’t many details about the new show yet, but here’s what we know. According to TVLine, the episodes, set to premiere Sunday, Feb. 19, 2023, will be an hour long. A night of passion will lead to love between con man Charlie (Ventimiglia) and undercover CIA officer Emma. The two don’t know they’re on a “collision course” professionally.

While Charlie ramps up the “family business” so he can get out for good, Emma is closing in on the criminal who holds Charlie’s family debts, forcing them to reckon with the lies they’ve told so they can save themselves and their families from disastrous consequences, the news outlet reports.

The cast also includes Catherine Haena Kim as Emma, William Fichtner as Leo, Tim Chiou as David, Freda Foh Shen as Grace, James Saito as Joseph, Sarah Wayne Callies as Birdie, Felisha Terrell as Daphne, and Polly Draper as Fran.

The show is based on Korean series My Fellow Citizens, with Julia Cohen writing and executive producing the project. Jon M. Chu, Todd Harthan, Caitlin Foito, Russ Cundiff, and Lindsay Goffman also serve as EPs, according to TVLine.
