New Disney+ shows and movies to stream this weekend (Sept. 2)

August has come to an end and some of us are kissing summer goodbye. Even so, Disney+ is still cranking out the releases.

Looking back at August, Disney+ has released a handful of originals including season 1 of She-Hulk, another season of High School Musical: The Musical: The Series and the first batch of I Am Groot shorts.

Honestly, if you’re a Marvel fan, August was probably a solid month for you. Regardless of what you’re a fan of, there are plenty of options on Disney+. As August ends and September begins, there are plenty of new releases for us to talk about.

Let’s break down the releases from the end of August until the beginning of September 2022.

These are the newest Disney+ releases to help kickstart your weekend.

If you’re looking for something new to enjoy on Disney+, then these are the newest releases added to the platform for your viewing pleasure.

As you can see, Disney+ is adding a lot of content from the ESPN library so if you’re a sports fan, you’re in luck. Additionally, there are also some National Geographic programs and, of course, Disney properties, too. No matter what you’re in the mood for, there is likely something you’ll enjoy from this batch of new releases.
