This Disney+ Day, Disney invites fans to relive the magic of one of its most iconic animated films through an all-new light with the release of its live-action adaptation of Pinocchio. 

Inspired by the 1940 film, Disney looks to recapture the magic in its newest live-action adaptation of a classic property by revisiting the story of one magical puppet and his journey to becoming a real boy. Like most Disney live-action reimaginings, this new iteration of the studio’s classic animated film will draw inspiration from the original film but with a new spin to make it fresh for a modern audience.

The film is one of the highlights of this year’s Disney+ Day offerings and is sure to be a favorite when it arrives on Disney+ to stream across the globe. But when exactly will the film be arriving in your neck of the woods?

Pinocchio release time: When does Pinocchio release on Disney+?

Disney has confirmed the Pinocchio release time to be at 3 am ET on Thursday, Sept. 8 which makes it easy for those on the East Coast of the United States to identify when the film will be dropping in their region. As for everyone else? Below, we break down when you can expect Disney’s newest original movie to arrive on Disney+ in several key regions around the globe:

  • Hawaii: 9:00 p.m. HST on Wednesday, September 7
  • Alaska: 11:00 p.m. AKDT on Wednesday, September 7
  • West Coast of the US: 12:00 a.m. PT on Thursday, September 8
  • Mountain time: 1:00 a.m. MT on Thursday, September 8
  • Midwest of the US: 2:00 a.m. CT on Thursday, September 8
  • East Coast of the US: 3:00 a.m. ET on Thursday, September 8
  • Brazil: 4:00 a.m. BRT on Thursday, September 8
  • UK: 8:00 am BST on Thursday, September 8
  • France: 9:00 a.m. CEST on Thursday, September 8
  • Germany: 9:00 a.m. CEST on Thursday, September 8
