When is American Horror Story coming back?

Now that the American Horror Story spin-off, American Horror Stories season 2, is over, when will we get our weekly dose of horror? Do we know when American Horror Story is coming back on FX? Has a release date for season 11 been announced? Here’s everything we know so far.

I’ll be honest. As much as I love AHS on FX, the spin-off American Horror Stories is not a favorite of mine. The episodes are hit and miss, with mostly being misses. I know it targets a younger audience, but I was still hoping to enjoy most episodes and that, sadly, hasn’t been the case for season 1 or season 2. Still, I suppose Stories does serve as bite-size horror stories that keep us happy until the original AHS returns — which is very, very soon.

Earlier this month, we shared that American Horror Story season 11 is not coming this month, September 2022. At the time of this writing, we have not heard anything about the release date, but if it was coming out this month, we would have already known.

American Horror Story season 11 releases date predictions

We know that the first five seasons of AHS premiered in the month of October. Seasons 6-9 were released in the month of September, and season 10 came to us in August 2021, so you can see the release dates have changed a bit. However, we have a feeling FX is going back to giving us AHS in the month of October, just in time for spooky season (and Halloween). And I know I’m not the only one who has missed the special Halloween episodes!

Now, according to IMDb, season 11 is coming out on Oct. 17, 2022. But before we get to excited, let’s remember that IMDb is not always a reliable source. As soon as this is confirmed or we hear anything else, we’ll be sure to update this post! In the meantime, why not binge Stories season 2 on Hulu?
