Starring Jason Sudeikis, Ted Lasso tells the story of American college football coach Ted Lasso as he heads to London to manage AFC Richmond, a struggling English Premier League football team in need of some major work.

Since its debut in 2020, the series has become a breakout hit for Apple TV+ and has become one of the streaming service’s biggest successes. Not only is it one of Apple TV+’s most-talked-about programs, but it’s also helped the streaming service to gain a seat at the table of some of the biggest awards ceremonies including the Emmys.

The show has become an Emmys darling in recent years, but you might be surprised to know how many Emmys the show has actually won over the years.

Ted Lasso Emmy wins

Ted Lasso has picked up an impressive 40 Emmy nominations and 11 wins — a number we imagine will increase as the series shows no signs of slowing down!

2021 was a particularly big year for the series, with the series taking home seven Emmys that year including the Emmy for Oustanding Comedy Series and several acting Emmys for its cast. Additionally, the series managed to pick up several technical Emmys in 2021 including for casting and editing.

The show managed to keep its momentum going in 2022 when it took home another wave of Emmys including back-to-back wins for the series, Goldstein and Sudeikis.
