The Handmaid’s Tale Season 5 is almost here. The first two episodes drop on Wednesday; from there, we have a weekly release schedule.

It is almost time to return to Gilead. We’re ready to find out June’s consequences after her actions at the end of Season 4. Two episodes arrive this Wednesday, Sept. 14.

Like previous seasons, this is a show with a weekly release. As much as we’d love to binge-watch, there are some benefits to taking a break between episodes. The week breaks benefit the show, giving us a chance to break down events, discuss with friends, and just take a breather from some of the traumatic events that happen.

This season is set to take place in both Canada and Gilead once again. June needs to deal with her feelings after killing Fred Waterford, while Serena Joy needs to figure out what to do now that she’s a pregnant widow. Will she return to Gilead, or will she raise her baby in Canada?

The Handmaid’s Tale Season 5 release schedule

You won’t want to miss out on any of the episodes. The finale airs on Wednesday, Nov. 9. Episodes are available at 3 a.m. ET/12 a.m. PT on the release dates, and here’s the full schedule to pay attention to.

Wednesday, Sept. 14: Episodes 1 and 2

Wednesday, Sept. 21: Episode 3

Wednesday, Sept. 28: Episode 4

Wednesday, Oct. 5: Episode 5

Wednesday, Oct. 12: Episode 6

Wednesday, Oct. 19: Episode 7

Wednesday, Oct. 26: Episode 8

Wednesday, Nov. 2: Episode 9

Wednesday, Nov. 9: Episode 10

There are some small changes to the cast. Alexis Bledel confirmed that she wouldn’t return to the show for this season. We’ll have to see how the show decides to write Emily out, although that could be plausible through her deciding to fight for Mayday in Canada outside of Toronto. She and her wife and son could also decide to get out of Toronto and start a new life elsewhere.

Of course, the focus is on Luke and June. They need to get Hannah out of Gilead, but is that going to be possible?

This isn’t going to be the last season. Hulu has confirmed Season 6 is happening, and that one will be the final season of the series.
