We have a HUGE week coming from the streaming giant and I won’t waste time with any bad jokes this week. Like we do each and every week, we’re sharing all the new Netflix movies and shows debuting beginning the week of September 19, 2022.

Some weeks we can catch up and others we can’t, this is one of those weeks where we are about to fall even further behind. Netflix has a loaded slate for us this week with a wide range of content for everyone. I am continuously shocked at not just the amount, but the quality content they provide us weekly.

New Netflix movies and shows to watch this week

  • Patton Oswalt: We All Scream, Sept. 20
  • Fortune Seller: A TV Scam, Sept. 21
  • Designing Miami, Sept. 21
  • Iron Chef: Mexico, Sept. 21
  • The Real Bling Ring: Hollywood Heist, Sept. 21
  • Snabba Cash, Sept. 22
  • Athena, Sept. 23
  • The Girls at the Back, Sept. 23
  • Lou, Sept. 23

The movie I am looking forward to watching the most this week is Lou. You can’t tell me that Allison Janney playing a Liam Neeson Taken-style role doesn’t excite you. Factor in she is teaming with Jurnee Smollett, and I am 100% all in for this one.

Next on my radar is the wild true story surrounding the Bling Ring. Were you a fan of the hit movie, Bling Ring? I know I was. Netflix has another true crime docuseries in The Real Bling Ring: Hollywood Heist which features the culprits talking on camera for the first time since the crimes took place.

The last thing, I am a MASSIVE stand-up comedy guy and with that being said, I’ve never been a huge fan of Patton Oswalt. However, I do intend on checking out what he has in store for us with his latest special.

From our suggestions, what will you be watching? Are you excited about the new season of Iron Chef: Mexico? Or will you be checking out Lou with me? Let us know, and let’s hope next week brings us more Netflix additions.
