Quantum Leap cast: Who stars in the new NBC show?

Quantum Leap, the latest reboot/revival to make its land on TV, premiered Monday, Sept. 19 on NBC. The series, which follows the time traveling adventures of Dr. Ben Song, takes place nearly 30 years after Sam Beckett stepped into the accelerator and disappeared.

The new team, led by Ben, are in for challenges of their own, starting with the loss of Ben’s memories. When they catch up with him in the past, he doesn’t remember them, the work he’d been doing, or why he decided to leap through time in the first place.

This premise sets season 1 of the show up as a mystery with each episode giving viewers more information on Ben’s initial plans and how his leaps are designed to help the people he encounters. Who stars in the rebooted Quantum Leap? Here’s what we know!

Raymond Lee as Dr. Ben Song, the leader of the team that works on the Quantum Leap accelerator. Ben is a brilliant physicist who’s on a mission to right what’s gone wrong. He’s doing so, however, without some very important memories like why he went on an unauthorized trip through time in the first place.

Caitlin Bassett as Addison Augustine, Ben’s guide through the past. She’s former Army intelligence and appears during Ben’s leaps as a hologram that only he can hear and see. Addison’s also a bigger part of the physicist’s life than she’s willing to let him in on now that he’s lost his memories.

Ernie Hudson as Herbert “Magic” Williams, the head of the Quantum Leap project who’s determined to take care of his team but also has to juggle his responsibilities to him with the answers he has to provide to the Pentagon.

Mason Alexander Park as Ian Wright, the lead programmer on the top-secret project that rebuilt Ziggy. The A.I. that Ian had a hand in restoring provides crucial information to Ben as he leaps through time.

Nanrisa Lee as Jenn Chou, the head of digital security on the program. Jenn works closely with Magic. The duo are trying to determine why Ben decided to make an unauthorized leap so they can help bring him home.
