When is Pitch Perfect: Bumper in Berlin coming out?

It’s the vocal villain we all love to hate! Pitch Perfect‘s main antagonist, Bumper Allen, is getting his own series with Pitch Perfect: Bumper in Berlin. This is the first time the franchise ventures into the show world, as preceding it were three films.

Of course actor Adam Devine is reprising his role as the titular character. We first met Bumper as the arrogant and self-centered leader of The Treblemakers in the first film, before he leaves the group to be John Mayer’s back up singer. In the sequel, he eventually returns to Barden University and joins the Tonehangers.

New cast members entering the Pitch Perfect universe are Sarah Hyland as Heidi, Flula Borg as Pieter Krämer, Jameela Jamil as Gisela, and Lera Abova as DJ Das Boot. Devine is one of the executive producers on the project. Elizabeth Banks, who played Gail in the films and directed Pitch Perfect 2, also executive produces.

Pitch Perfect: Bumper in Berlin premieres Wednesday, Nov. 23 on Peacock. It’s not clear yet how many episodes the series will have, and whether the installments will be released at once or weekly. We’ll find out soon enough!

The comedy is set several years after we last saw Bumper in Pitch Perfect. The main antagonist makes his way to Germany to revive his music career when one of his songs becomes a big hit in Berlin. Let’s see just where that international success will take the vocalist!
