What time is Blue Lock coming out?

Blue Lock is one of the many anime series slated to arrive in fall 2022.

Known for its epic showdowns and beautifully written characters, the anime adaptation of this beloved manga series has extremely high expectations. However, we know that Eight Bit, the anime studio producing this title, and Haikyu!!‘s Tetsuaki Watanabe, the talented director of the 2022 anime, will definitely deliver everything we could ever ask for from this series and so much more.

Blue Lock release time

According to Crunchyroll, fans located in Japan can expect the series premiere of Blue Lock to release on Saturday, Oct. 8, at 1:30 a.m. JST on the anime site. And, as for those located outside of Japan, the site, unfortunately, hasn’t confirmed a release time as of yet. But, we may receive the episode around 12:30 p.m. ET/9:30 a.m. PT should the site follow its regular programming.

What is Blue Lock about?

Blue Lock takes competition and tenacity to a completely different level, as this anime series proves that if you don’t have what it takes to get to the top, you should move out of the way of the people that do.

Here’s the official synopsis via Crunchyroll:

"After a disastrous defeat at the 2018 World Cup, Japan’s team struggles to regroup. But what’s missing? An absolute Ace Striker, who can guide them to the win. The Japan Football Union is hell-bent on creating a striker who hungers for goals and thirsts for victory, and who can be the decisive instrument in turning around a losing match…and to do so, they’ve gathered 300 of Japan’s best and brightest youth players. Who will emerge to lead the team…and will they be able to out-muscle and out-ego everyone who stands in their way?"
