The CW TV schedule is packed with premieres for their scripted and unscripted programming this week starting with the return of All American Mondays. The sports drama franchise expanded its universe last television season with the debut of All American: Homecoming, a college series that follows Simone Hicks’ life at Bringston University.

You’ll want to tune into All American and its spin-off on Monday because they’ll be crossing over with special holiday episodes. First, viewers will be catching up with the tension still brewing between Spencer and Olivia as well as Jordan and Simone’s post break-up relationship during the Christmas season. Then, the aftermath of that premiere will bleed into Simone and her friends’ New Year’s Eve celebrations back at Bringston when Spencer and Jordan come to visit.

The biggest premiere this week for the network is The Winchesters, the highly anticipated prequel to the iconic Supernatural series that ran for 15 seasons before concluding in 2020. The show tells the story of John and Mary Winchester years before they married and had their boys, Dean and Sam. It’s also the second period drama to debut on The CW this season as its set in 1972.

Following The Winchesters is Professionals, an action series starring Brendan Fraser and Tom Welling. It’s been sometime since the network incorporated a high octane, adrenaline fueled show in its line-up that didn’t have a superhero, magical, fantasy, sci-fi, or supernatural bend to it. What comes to mind is Nikita and that series ended in 2013. We’re looking forward to seeing what the show has to offer the network’s viewers.

Both premieres will rerun on Saturday since the debuts of Criss Angel’s Magic with the Stars and season 3 of World’s Funniest Animals aren’t until Oct. 22. The unscripted series premiering new seasons this week are Penn & Teller: Fool Us and Whose Line Is It Anyway?
