Walker season 3 episodes: How many episodes are in the season?

Walker season 3 has gotten off to an intense start. With the kidnapping of Cordell, the Walkers have been on edge hoping against hope that he’ll be found and brought home safely.

This wasn’t an isolated incident, he’s been taken due to something that occurred in his past and at least the first half of the season will likely delve into the reason behind his abduction.

How long will viewers have with the Walkers this season? Here’s what we know about season 3’s episode count and its schedule!

Walker season 3 episode count

According to TVLine, Walker season 3 will have a total of 18 episodes which is on par with the show’s premiere season and two less than last year’s. Given the episode count, fans can anticipate half of the third season airing before Walker goes on hiatus and returns in 2023.

Season 2’s hiatus after its midseason finale in December was a little over a month before the show returned with new episodes in January. Given the branding of Walker Thursdays and the presence of the show’s prequel series in the 2022-2023 line-up, the back half of season 3 isn’t likely to be held until February or March, but we’ll keep you posted on any unexpected delays.

The latest episodes of Walker season 3 will be available to stream on cwtv.com and the CW App through its airing on television. Once the season wraps in 2023, it’s streaming home will be HBO Max. Currently, seasons one and two are available to stream on the platform.

  • Episode 2: “Sittin’ on a Rainbow” – Oct. 13
  • Episode 3: “Rubber Meets the Road” – Oct. 20

  • Episode 5: “Mum’s the Word” – Nov. 3
  • Episode 6 – Nov. 10
  • Episode 7 – Nov. 17
  • Episode 8 – Nov. 24
  • Episode 9 – Dec. 1
  • Episodes 10-18: TBA, likely 2023 release dates

Note: Episodes 6-9 may have different air dates than listed. The Futon Critic notes that titles are to be announced. This could mean reruns or preempted programming especially for Thanksgiving on Thursday, Nov. 24.
