Things aren’t looking great for Karen Wilson based on the promo for 911 Season 6, Episode 6. Is Tracie Thoms leaving 911?

There’s no denying that Tracie Thoms is a popular actress. We always look forward to seeing Karen Wilson show up in 911, and it’s been happening a lot more frequently in the series so far. This naturally leaves us concerned about her sticking around for longer.

The promo for the new episode certainly has us worried.

At the end of the previous episode, we saw Karen call 911 for help when there was an explosion at her work. People are injured and maybe dead, but Karen is at least one of the walking wounded in the promo. We know how quickly emergencies can change, though. Is there a chance we’ll lose Thoms this season?

Update: Here are the spoilers from 911 Season 6, Episode 6 to see if Karen survived the explosion or not.

Is Tracie Thoms leaving 911 during Season 6?

The episode left us on a cliffhanger. Karen had called 911. The promo gives us a few more reasons to worry.

The 118 gets to Karen’s work, but it’s not in enough time to just walk her out of the building. At some point, she collapses. We see Hen doing chest compressions in the ambulance on the way to the hospital.

With a guest star, anything is possible. Thoms did share on Twitter that fans aren’t ready for what’s to come, and that was in reply to Joaquin Sedillo, director of the episode, sharing that he’d cried three times while editing the episode.

It really is hard to make a call on which way the show will go with this storyline. As mentioned, Thoms is a popular and in-demand actress. She’s always managed to make her guest roles work, but could this be one of those times we lose her in a devastating way. We’re really hoping that 911 doesn’t become part of the Bury Your Gays trope, though.
