Who stars in The Santa Clauses series on Disney+?

If you were a fan of The Santa Clause movies growing up, then you’ll be happy to know a sequel series, The Santa Clauses, is coming to Disney+! The films have become a holiday staple, and this year we’re getting more of the infamous family since the third film, The Santa Clause 3: The Escape Clause, debuted in 2006.

The comedy miniseries will be released Wednesday, Nov. 16 on the streaming service. The first two episodes of the six-episode season will premiere, followed by one new installment weekly. The finale is set for Wednesday, Dec. 14, 2022, according to TVLine.

Disney+ shares that when we see the Clauses again, it’s been 30 years since Scott Calvin became Santa Claus and he’s “as jolly as ever.” But now, Christmas’ popularity is declining which means so is his Santa magic. The demands between the job at the Pole and being there for his family are also becoming a delicate balance.

And so, Scott decides to retire when he finds out that’s an option. He’ll be tasked with finding a worthy successor so she can spend more time with his family. Unfortunately, that might not be so easy as the trailer reveals!

The great news is that the series is seeing lots of returning favorites from the three films! Tim Allen of course will return as Scott Calvin/Santa Clause, as well as his son Charlie played by actor Eric Lloyd. Check out the full cast list below:
