Alert cast: Who stars in the upcoming FOX series?

We’re going to get into the missing person’s cases in the new police procedural, Alert on FOX. The series will introduce us to the work of the Missing Persons Unit (MPU) at the Philadelphia Police Department.

The drama, which will premiere Sunday, Jan. 8, 2023, will be a “heart-pounding, life-or-death search for a missing person in each episode,” while the main characters personally search for their own son, according to FOX.

The procedural centers around police officer Nikki Batista. Her son went missing six years ago. As the head of the police department’s Missing Person’s Unit, she helps others find their loves ones as she searches for her boy, FOX shares. After all if there’s anyone who can relate to the families, it’s Nikki. Six years later there could be a possible break in the case when her ex-husband, Jason Grant, shows up with a proof-of-life photo. But is that really their son or someone just claiming to be?

Actors Scott Caan and Dania Ramirez will play the desperate parents. Here is the full cast list:

John Eisendrath serves as showrunner and executive producer, with Jamie Foxx and Datari Turner also executive producing the project. The show is co-produced by  Sony Pictures Television and FOX Entertainment.

While the pilot premieres on Sunday, the second episode airs the next day on Monday, Jan. 9 at 9 p.m. ET. This will be the show’s regular timeslot going forward.
