Things aren’t looking too positive for reality TV stars Todd and Julie Chrisley right now. In case you missed it, the two parents were found guilty of conspiring to commit bank fraud and tax evasion and are now awaiting their sentencing.

According to The Ashley’s Reality Roundup, there’s a new update in the case that does not favor the Chrisley Knows Best leads. The site has obtained court documents that say Todd and Julie requested a new trial but were denied on Oct. 28. On top of that, the two celebs also requested to be free of the criminal charges, which unsurprisingly was also denied.

This all means that Todd and Julie are still set to be sentenced in court on Nov. 21, 2022. It looks like the pair are trying anything they can right now to get out of facing the consequences, as they both still deny the allegations against them.

While Todd and Julie await the big decision, some of their family members have been struggling with their new reality. As we previously reported, their daughter Savannah opened up on how difficult the situation is on her podcast, Unlocked. The reality star had her mom on as a guest and admitted she was “so angry” about everything.

Previously to that, Todd, Julie, and Savannah all sat down for an episode of the Chrisley Confessions podcast. As you can tell, the parents are not shying away from the spotlight as they inch closer and closer to their sentencing date.

Stay tuned for more updates on the Todd and Julie case.
