On Sunday, FBI aired season 5, episode 6, “Double Bind,” in the 8:30 p.m. ET slot on CBS.

The move may have come as a surprise to viewers who routinely tune into the show on Tuesdays. However, it did put fans an episode closer to seeing Missy Peregrym’s return to the program.

No, a new episode of FBI won’t air tonight on CBS. In fact, the network’s entire primetime block will be preempted for Election Night coverage.

From 8 p.m. – 11 p.m. ET, CBS News: America Decides: Campaign ’22 will takeover keeping viewers informed about the races happening across the country and who has been elected by their constituents.

When does FBI return with new episodes?

“Ready or Not” premieres Tuesday, Nov. 15 at 8 p.m. ET on CBS. The episode will mark the return of Missy Peregrym as Special Agent Maggie Bell. Here’s what it’ll be about:
