The Santa Clauses release schedule: When do new episodes come out?

The holiday season is upon us, and that means so many new Christmas productions are coming our way! One series you’ll definitely want to add to your list this year is The Santa Clauses on Disney+!

The show serves as a series sequel to The Santa Clause movies. So be sure to watch those first! We’ve got lots of returning favorites from the first three films including Tim Allen as Scott Calvin/Santa Clause, Eric Lloyd as Scott’s son Charlie, Elizabeth Mitchell as Carol Calvin/Mrs. Clause, and David Krumholt as Bernard The Head Elf.

There will also be many new characters introduced to the fun franchise including Elizabeth Allen-Dick as Sandra, Kal Penn as Simon Choksi, Rupali Redd as Grace Choksi, Austin Kane as Cal, Devin Bright as Noel, and Matilda Lawler as Betty.

Disney+ shares that the comedy miniseries sees Scott (Allen) as happy as ever in his role as Santa. It’s been 30 years since he’s taken on the important job and though his Christmas spirit is high, the holiday’s popularity is dwindling. That means his Santa magic is decreasing as well. The trailer reveals some of the funny mishaps that start to happen!

With three decades under his belt, Scott believes it’s time for him to retire so he can spend more time with his family. He works to find a worthy successor. And when he does, that person may not have been the best choice, as we see in the trailer.

When do new episodes of The Santa Clauses come out?

The new limited series, which will have a total of six episodes, will begin streaming Wednesday, Nov. 16 on Disney+ with the first two episodes. One new installment will then be released weekly until the finale. The last episode is scheduled for Wednesday, Dec. 14, TVLine reports.

Here is a breakdown of the episode release schedule:

• Episode 1, “Chapter One: Good To Ho” – Wednesday, Nov. 16
• Episode 2, “Chapter Two: The Secessus Clause” – Wednesday, Nov. 16
• Episode 3, “Chapter Three: Into the Wobbly Wood” – Wednesday, Nov. 23
• Episode 4, “Chapter Four: The Shoes Off the Bed Clause” – Wednesday, Nov. 30
• Episode 5 – Wednesday, Dec. 7
• Episode 6 (finale) – Wednesday, Dec. 14

The Santa Clauses premieres Wednesday, Nov. 16 with the first two episodes on Disney+.
