Dr. Seuss Baking Challenge: How many episodes are in the series?

Get ready to enter the world of The Cat in the Hat, How the Grinch Stole Christmas, Oh, the Places You’ll Go, and more iconic Dr. Seuss worlds in Prime Video’s new baking competition series, Dr. Seuss Baking Challenge!

Competitors chosen have been split into nine teams named after a color. For example, viewers will see the “Teal Team,” “Yellow Team,” etc. Each duo, which includes one pastry chef and one cake artist, will work together for the ultimate prize – $50,000!

The bakers will have to bring their imagination to the show to impress judges Clarice Lam and Joshua John Russell. The host of the series is actress and producer Tamera Mowry-Housley.

The competition series is produced by Amazon Studios, Dr. Seuss Enterprises, and Super Delicious. Showrunner Ruth Amsel executive produces alongside Cara Tapper, Adam Cohen, Joanna Vernetti, and President and CEO of Dr. Seuss Enterprises, Susan Brandt.

The Dr. Seuss Baking Challenge will have a total of eight episodes. And good news, you won’t have to wait between each installment! The full season will be released Thursday, Dec. 13 on Prime Video. So you’ll be able to binge away! The show will also be available to watch on the free, ad-supported platform Amazon Freevee.

In each episode, bakers will be given a challenge based on the Dr. Seuss characters and stories, Prime Video shares. They will be judged based on taste, creativity, accuracy, and storytelling. Following the installments, recipes will be shared to viewers at home who want to try their hand and making their own creations through the free Amazon Dr. Seuss Baking Challenge store.
