If you haven’t seen Violent Night on the big screens yet, you really need to! The film, starring David Harbour, is such a fun black comedy for the holiday season. I know some of you are itching to watch it, but from the comfort of your own home.

The Universal Pictures film follows Santa Claus (Harbour) saving the day. But this Old St. Nick isn’t afraid to get his hands dirty. A team of mercenaries break into a wealth family’s home on Christmas Eve, taking everyone hostage. But they are no match for this Santa!

Along with the Stranger Things actor, John Leguizamo, Edi Patterson, Cam Gigandet, Alex Hassell, Alexis Louder, and Beverly D’Angelo also round out the cast. Tommy Wirkola took charge behind the scenes as director, with the screenplay penned by Pat Casey and Josh Miller.

As many studios do now, if a film first just makes a theatrical release, it eventually comes to streaming at a later date. Which streaming service will Violent Night be on?

Is Violent Night going to stream on Peacock or Paramount+?

We don’t have a confirmed streaming service or streaming release date for the action movie yet. However, since it’s a Universal Pictures film, the production will most likely stream on Peacock since the company is owned by Comcast through the NBCUniversal Film and Entertainment division of NBCUniversal. And Peacock is run by the Television and Streaming division of NBCUniversal.

Since the film debuted Dec. 2, 2022 in theaters, it could possibly come to the streaming service 45 days after its cinematic release. That would put us at Jan. 16, 2023. However this is just a prediction. We’ll have to wait for confirmation from the production company.

In the meantime if you really can’t wait, the film can be watched on-demand through Prime Video, Apple TV, Redbox, among others.

Violent Night starring David Harbour is now in cinemas. Be sure to keep your eyes locked on our page as we provide an update on where and when the film begins streaming.
