Married at First Sight is back with season 16! Lifetime’s reality marriage series is set to be packed with the inevitable drama that ensues when complete strangers decide to take a leap of faith and marry someone sight unseen.
This year, 10 hopefuls based out of Tennessee will have two short weeks to get comfortable with the idea that they could be starting a life with their soulmate…if all goes right. Besides making it down the aisle, they’ll also have to trust that they’ve made the best decision for themselves. But are they really ready for the commitment?
In the premiere, one soon-to-be bride gets too flirty with a stripper at the bachelorette party which has other participants raising their eyebrows. Later in the season, one groom crosses the line by making an “indecent proposal” to another man’s wife, adding even more drama to this already tense and high stakes eight week social experiment.

Viewers can expect a 23 episode sixteenth season for Married at First Sight. The new season premieres Wednesday, Jan. 4 at 8 p.m. ET on Lifetime and will re-air at 11 p.m. after Married at First Sight: Afterparty. Next day streaming will be available on mylifetime.com.
