Undoubtedly, the best way to ring in the new year is to watch every second of the horror film everyone is dying to see, M3gan.
The eerie title caught everyone’s attention when its official trailer featured an intriguing scene of the creepy doll, Megan, dancing as if she was a human being. However, it also piqued film buffs’ interest when they learned a bit more about the riveting storyline at the center of it all.
See the official synopsis for M3gan below.
"M3GAN is a marvel of artificial intelligence, a life-like doll programmed to be a child’s greatest companion and a parent’s greatest ally. Designed by brilliant toy-company roboticist Gemma, M3GAN can listen and watch and learn as she becomes friend and teacher, playmate and protector, for the child she is bonded to.When Gemma suddenly becomes the caretaker of her orphaned 8-year-old niece, Cady, Gemma’s unsure and unprepared to be a parent. Under intense pressure at work, Gemma decides to pair her M3GAN prototype with Cady in an attempt to resolve both problems—a decision that will have unimaginable consequences."
Many have already purchased their movie tickets for the thriller, but for those who can’t exactly get tickets (or just prefer to watch in the comfort of their homes), here’s where you may be able to stream.
Is M3gan on HBO Max?
Currently, Megan is not streaming on HBO Max. While the site does have a lot of newer releases available, we don’t know if the film will ever stream on this platform, so you’ll have to check back in with us for more updates!
Where to stream M3gan online
Blumhouse Productions—the production studio that created M3gan—has its other titles, such as Halloween Ends, They/Them, and Firestarter, available to stream on Peacock. Because of this pattern, we predict that the newly released film will also make its way to this site. In the same breath, however, films like Run Sweetheart Run and Whiplash, are streaming on Amazon Prime Video, so we believe this site is also likely to house the film.
If the 2023 title doesn’t arrive on Peacock, our second guess would be Hulu or Netflix, since the studio’s other films are on these sites as well. Only time will tell where the film will land, though!
While we wait to learn where M3gan will head after its theatrical release, stay tuned with Hidden Remote for more updates about upcoming horror shows and movies.
