The Climb episode release schedule: When do new episodes come out?

Jason Momoa is bringing his talents to a new project, but this time it’s not onscreen! The actor co-created a new competition series, The Climb! The show debuts on Jan. 12, 2023 on HBO Max. Is it a binge-drop or will you have to wait weekly?

The show will feature rock climbing competitors who will have to go up some of the hardest ascents, per the HBO Max synopsis. The “visually-arresting” and “life-changing adventure” will take contestants through mental and physical challenges as they make their way up some of the highest peaks in nature. Of course the group is working to reach the cash prize at the end. And that’s a total of $100,000! Plus, the winner gets a prAna sponsored climbing ambassadorship.

Legendary rock climber Chris Sharma co-created the show alongside Momoa. The two also executive produce. Other EPs include Eli Holzman, Aaron Saidman, Erin Gamble, Matt Shanfield, Brian Mendoza, James Mendoza, and Jonathan Retseck.

When do new episodes of The Climb come out?

The rock climbing competition series premieres Thursday, Jan. 12, 2023 with the first three episodes on HBO Max. Then, another three will be released the following week on Jan. 19. The show will conclude with the final two installments when they stream Thursday, Jan. 26 on the platform.
