It was another slow episode for The Bold and the Beautiful today, but Katie at least demanded answers from Taylor about Bill’s shooting which she gave tearfully. Meanwhile Sheila and Bill cuddled on the couch some more as Sheila replayed the conversation she walked in on between her love and his ex-wife, Katie.

As for Deacon, Brooke and Hope popped by Il Giardino to see him. They sampled some pizza, gave their notes, and then proceeded to spend their visit talking about Sheila with Deacon not giving much input because he has feelings for their nemesis and they don’t know about it.

Here’s the full recap of events.

What happened today on The Bold and the Beautiful?

Katie was rocked so hard by Taylor’s bombshell confession that she could barely process what she’d heard. For years, this secret has been kept and now it’s come to bite all of them in the behind. Taylor sounded like she was making excuses for herself as she sobbed what had happened.

Apparently, everyone has a light and dark side and something took over her that night. She was so angry over what she thought Bill had done (which she didn’t elaborate on but just to remind you, Ridge told her Bill raped Steffy), that she went to his house. She found him there alone by the window and there on the table was his gun.

Taylor picked it up, the power went out because of the storm, and she fired. For years she’s lived with shame and guilt over her actions. At the time, she hadn’t thought about what killing his father would have done to Will. Her anger had carried her outside of herself, pushed her to do something she would have never done under different circumstances, and it reminded her of the crimes Sheila has committed over the years.

While Katie had initially been angry, it cooled rather fast after Taylor’s explanation. Interestingly, she didn’t ask Taylor to tell her what she thought Bill had done. Perhaps that’s being saved for later, but for now, all she wants is to get her ex away from Sheila. She didn’t say anything when Steffy said her mother is a good person, but Katie doesn’t seem to be putting Taylor in the same league as Sheila.

Speaking of the infamous woman, she and Bill snuggled for the majority of the episode. She thought he was distracted by what Katie had told him and wanted to remind her new love that he’d been abandoned by the people in his life. In her words, they walked away from him over and over again because they couldn’t handle who he really is.

When they stood up and started talking, she launched into how Taylor nearly took him from her. She’d read about his shooting and couldn’t believe a coward had nearly taken the life of someone she believed to have such a power. She’s glad that didn’t happen because now they’ve found each other and a love they’ve never had before.

That, however, isn’t the only love that Sheila’s had in her life recently which is something Bill doesn’t know but Deacon’s certainly pondering. When Brooke and Hope showed up at his restaurant, he was initially delighted to see them. Just like with Sheila, he had them sample his signature pizza though they gave him more notes than his friend.

He didn’t get to talk for too long about his vision for Il Giardino as his daughter and her mother spent most of their time talking about Sheila. But he did at least get to say he’s throwing his all into the restaurant and spends most of his days trying to get it up and running how he wants. What he needs is contacts, which Hope is helping him with, and some critics to review the menu but he doubts anyone from Spencer Publications is going to be coming his way any time soon.

Hope and Brooke are abundantly proud of Deacon. It was evident in their conversation but that pride is certain to dampen if they ever learn about his connection with Sheila. They were going on and on trying to figure out what a man could possibly see in her let alone one like Bill Spencer. Brooke proposed that maybe Sheila’s using him or maybe he’s using her but Hope couldn’t wrap her mind around the idea of them together period.

For his part, Deacon was reminiscing about Sheila and had to be brought back into the discussion when his mind wondered off. He dismissed it as being tired but we know it’s more so that his own feelings for Sheila are rearing their head. He was jealous last time they interacted. Deacon even kissed her when he shouldn’t have. Something tells me he’s going to be seeing her again sooner rather than later.

Until next time, Bold fans. Stay beautiful!
