A Million Little Things season 5 premieres Wednesday, Feb. 8 at 10:01 p.m. ET on ABC, kicking off the beloved drama’s farewell season.

The premiere, titled “The Last Dance,” opens the season on a somber note as this family of friends gather together to celebrate the life of a loved one who died unexpectedly. Other storylines include Katherine assisting Maggie as she registers for baby gifts and Rome supporting his father who’s having difficulty making a transition.

Over the course of season 5, fans can anticipate both laughter and tears as these characters grow in their relationships, navigate life’s challenges, and examine who they are and how they want to continue stepping fully into their lives.

With this being A Million Little Things‘ final season, viewers are, of course, wondering how long they’ll have with their show before they have to bid it goodbye. Here’s what we know about season 5’s episode count and its release schedule.

A Million Little Things season 5 episode count

In a tweet, the creator of the series DJ Nash revealed that the farewell season will have a total of 13 episodes. There was also mention that they’d air in a row, so fans won’t have to worry about dealing with planned breaks for the foreseeable future. We’ll let you know if that changes.
