The Kansas City Chiefs and the Philadelphia Eagles are the two teams who have made it to the coveted championship game. Super Bowl LVII is the most exciting event for football fans. The game will take place Sunday, Feb. 12, 2023, at 6:30 p.m. ET on FOX.

Rihanna will have around 15 minutes to put on the show, hosted by Apple Music. It will begin at around 8 p.m. or 8:30 p.m. ET. With this exciting headliner, how long has it been since the singer from Barbados released an album? We’e got the answer for you below!

Super Bowl Halftime: When was the last time Rihanna released an album?

So the last time Rihanna released an album was seven years ago! Yeah, that’s why the hype among fans is so high. It was her eighth album, “Anti,” which was released Jan. 28, 2016. Some of the hits that came out of this album are “Work” featuring Drake, “Needed Me,” and “Love on the Brain.” The album came out  four years following her seventh, “Unapologetic,” which was released in 2012.

So why has it been so long since the artist has put out any music? She hasn’t even put out a song in all these years. Well, she’s been busy being a brilliant businesswoman! Rihanna started Fenty Beauty, which is a very popular makeup brand in the industry. One reason is because it’s known for its inclusivity when it comes to creating products for various skin tones.

We’re so excited to see Rihanna perform at the Super Bowl Halftime Show! I don’t care what she sings, as long as we get to see her on a stage once again. Which tune do you hope she performs?

The Super Bowl LVII is scheduled for Sunday, Feb. 12, 2023 on FOX. Get ready to jam out with Rihanna at the Halftime Show.
