Is Rihanna pregnant again?

UPDATE: A representative for Rihanna confirmed to The Hollywood Reporter that Rihanna is pregnant. This after speculation sparked on social media following her performance in which she seemed to hint that she was expecting with a not-so-subtle rub of her stomach in the opening moments of the performance.

At the time, Rihanna has not formally confirmed whether she is expecting a second child but her performance at the Super Bowl Halftime Show sparked some questions. The moment in question that has many questioning if the “Diamonds” singer is expecting a second child came when Rihanna opened the performance with a subtle rub of her stomach which left many fans to wonder if that was a subtle way of announcing a pregnancy.

In addition to the speculation that began sparking among audiences across the US who were watching the performance from home, outlets including Consequence — a pop culture brand — are reporting Rihanna is expecting and using the game to break the news.

Perhaps the closest we’ve come to an official confirmation thus far has come from CBS NFL analyst Nate Burleson. Prior to her performance, Rihanna revealed to Burleson that she would be joined by a surprise guest; however, she ended up performing solo with no guests joining her. After a fan took notice of this and hinted that the surprise guest was her baby, Burleson seemed to confirm the speculation by replying “Bingo” with a target emoji seeming to confirm that was indeed the case.
