A new series from Apple TV+ premieres on Friday, Feb. 24. The Reluctant Traveler stars Eugene Levy, so we’re super excited to check this one out. After all, Apple TV+ is known to feature some of the best quality content, and we know Levy is a brilliant actor. But what is The Reluctant Traveler even about? We know Eugene Levy best from Schitt’s Creek, where he portrays Johnny Rose. But in The Reluctant Traveler, we are going to see a completely different side of the actor. In fact, he is not playing a role at all. The upcoming show features Levy just being himself, which is a shy an non-adventurous individual. This is hard to believe, so I’m looking forward to seeing it for myself.

What is The Reluctant Traveler about?

In The Reluctant Traveler, we’ll see Levy traveling the world…reluctantly, as he is stepping out of his comfort zone here. According to Deadline, Levy is visiting “dangerous places and partaking in activities such as taking a stool sample from an elephant.” Wow, talk about leaving your comfort zone!

This is one of the most genuine and honest travel docuseries you’ll see. Levy shared that he declined when this was first offered to him, commenting that he wasn’t adventurous. Production insisted, so Levy agreed as long as he could be himself and be honest about how he doesn’t enjoy traveling.

After filming, Levy admits to have enjoyed himself and opening up more about his fears.
