David Bernad, the executive producer of The White Lotus, hints at what’s to come in the third season, and from the sound of it, we think it’s going to be one of the best seasons to date.

So far, we’ve visited Hawaii and Italy with our crew. The time spent in these locations was far from forgettable, as we not only had loads of drama that kept us entertained but also had many scenic locations that took our breath away. What’s more, the setting of each season aided in what made each season unique, so it’s safe to say that Bernad and the fellow creators of The White Lotus will make be as intentional as before in their world-building.

Fortunately for us, the amazing sets will not cease anytime soon! Without further ado, here’s everything we know so far about where The White Lotus season 3 will take place.

Where will The White Lotus season 3 be filmed?

As per Deadline, David Bernad is looking to film The White Lotus season 3 in Asia.

“We’ve tried to work in Asia a lot and hopefully season three will be our chance to make something happen there,” Bernad expressed.

Which country in Asia, in particular, is unknown to us at the moment. However, should everything go to plan, we can expect the upcoming installment to draw inspiration from Asian religions, as Mike White, the creator of the show, already has his mind set on the plot.

“The first season kind of highlighted money, and then the second season is sex,” White told Variety. “I think the third season would be maybe a satirical and funny look at death and Eastern religion and spirituality. It feels like it could be a rich tapestry to do another round at White Lotus.”

Who will be in the cast of The White Lotus season 3?

While we don’t have any information on the cast of the third season, American Horror Story‘s Evan Peters may join the fray, especially after Bernad confirmed that he was supposed to play Will Sharpe’s character, Ethan.

“That part was the last part we cast in the season, and originally it was supposed to be Evan Peters,” Bernad stated. “But for whatever reason – scheduling or timing – it didn’t work out.”

As expected, fans of the HBO title are already fan-casting who they want to see in the series next. Some fan-casting options include Steven Yeun, Tom Holland, Meryl Streep, Zendaya, and many more of our favorite A-listers, but only time will tell who the creators decide to cast.
