Get ready for a bunch of action-packed adventures with husband and wife duo Harry and Helen in the new CBS series, True Lies! These two I’m sure will prove to be the perfect team. The show debuts tonight, Wednesday, March 1, 2023, on the network.

Taking on the roles of the married couple are actors Steve Howey and Ginger Gonzaga, respectively. Erica Hernandez as Maria, Omar Miller as Gib, Mike O’Gorman as Luther, Annabella Didion as Dana, and Lucas Jaye as Jake round out the cast.

What is True Lies on CBS about?

True Lies follows Harry who has the ultimate top-secret job – he’s a first-class international spy for U.S. intelligence agency, per the synopsis. Language professor Helen finds out about her husband’s career when he takes her on a mission to Paris when he sees how upset she is at the distance growing between them, the trailer reveals. As a result, she gets recruited alongside him by the agency, Omega Sector, after proving she’s more than capable of fighting too.

The production is centered around Harry (Steve Howey), who is a first-class international spy for U.S. intelligence agency Omega Sector and his wife Helen (Ginger Gonzaga ), a language professor who wants to change up her everyday routine, per the synopsis. Well, when she finds out what her husband actually does for a living, she gets recruited to work alongside Harry — and she proves to be a valuable asset.

This is the welcome change she’s been looking for from her everyday, routine-filled life. The action-filled story will take the two all over the globe, while they have to hid what they’re doing from their two teenagers.

True Lies premieres Wednesday, March 1, 2023 at 10 p.m. ET on CBS. Episodes are also available to stream on Paramount+.
