When is the Quantum Leap season 1 finale on NBC?

We, and NBC, just can’t get enough of Quantum Leap! Though it’s a revival of the 1989 series of the same name, taking place 30 years following the ending of the original’s story, it’s been more than a success at the network. This can be difficult with revivals and reboots, but the Raymond Lee-led iteration has proved itself!

Since it aired, the show has been on a positive trend. In October 2022, when the first season just aired its fourth episode, NBC decided to give the sci-fi series a full season. That means it was extended from 12 to 18 episodes. Then in December 2022, the broadcaster announced Quantum Leap was renewed for season 2!

Before we get excited for the sophomore season and for the story to continue, we need to figure out what’s going to happen in the season 1 finale. So when is it scheduled to air? We’ve got the answer for you below!

When is the Quantum Leap season 1 finale on NBC?

As mentioned above, the show’s first season will have a total of 18 episodes. As of this writing on March 21, 2023, 16 episodes have aired on NBC. That means we only have two left! Tune in on Monday, March 27, 2023 for the penultimate episode, “The Friendly Skies”. Then the following week, the Quantum Leap season 1 finale will air on Monday, April 3, 2023.. “Judgment Day” premieres at 10 p.m. ET on NBC.

The show is centered around Dr. Ben Song (Lee), who leads a team trying to understand the mysteries behind the Quantum Leap accelerator that made Dr. Sam Beckett disappear three decades ago. But when Ben makes an unauthorized leap into the past, his team has to figure out why he did so before losing him to time forever.

Joining Lee onscreen are Caitlin Bassett, Mason Alexander Park, Narnisa Lee, and Ernie Hudson. The revival is created by Steven Lilien and Bryan Wynbrandt, with the creator of the original serving as an executive producer.

The Quantum Leap season 1 finale airs Monday, April 3, 2023 at 10 p.m. ET on NBC. Episodes are available to stream on Peacock the next day.
