Barry season 4 and more HBO Max movies and shows to watch in April 2023

If you don’t already have an HBO Max account, the month of April 2023 is definitely the time to join! The streaming platform has plenty of content coming out, from returning favorites to new series. Need a quick list of what not to miss? Here are the HBO Max movies and shows to watch in April.

In addition to the list below, some classic, older favorites to watch include Dumb & Dumber To, Evan Almighty, The Host, The House Bunny, Let’s Be Cops, Push, Spring Breakers, Taken 3, and for the kiddos just in time for the summer, there’s The Smurfs Movie and The Smurfs 2. Now, on to the new releases and returning favorites?

• Barry season 4, coming April 16
• 100 Foot Wave season 2, coming April 16
• Fired On Mars, new animated series out April 20
• Somebody Somewhere, new series dropping April 23
• Love and Death, limited series out April 27

Barry season 4 is the final one in the series, so it’s going to be an intense eight episodes! I, for one, can’t wait to see what happens. Though, if I’m being honest, I’m rooting for Barry all the way!

Another series getting closer to its end, is Titans. Don’t miss the mid-season premiere of its final season out on April 13.

Finally, another series worth checking out, is Love and Death. This limited series stars Elizabeth Olsen. Enough said, am I right? We’ll also see the incredible Jesse Plemons, Krysten Ritter, and Lily Rabe. Now, this is a limited series, which means there is only one season. If the plot seems familiar, that’s because, not only is is based on a true story, but Hulu released their own version of this unbelievable story in May 2022, titled Candy and starring Jessica Biel.
