To say that the year 2023 didn’t kick off on a happy or positive note for Marvel star Jeremy Renner is an understatement. Renner was in a horrific freak accident involving his snowplow and remained in critical condition at the hospital for some time. Since then, fans have been following closely for updates, which have been light. But now, Renner is ready to share and inspire us all with his experience and journey to recovery.

There’s a lot to learn from someone who has been through a life or death experience. Not everyone gets a second chance at life, so I can only imagine what a different perspective a survivor walks out of a near-fatal moment.

The Hollywood Reporter broke the news, Renner was at his Nevada home clearing the snowy roads when the emergency brake in the actor’s snowcat failed. The seven-ton machine began to roll, heading towards Renner’s nephew. Unable to stop the snowcat, Renner was run over and severely injured.

In the trailer to his interview with Diane Sawyer, we learn that Renner suffered eight broken ribs, a collapsed lung, a pierced liver, and other injuries. In this interview, the Marvel star will share more details and his current condition.
