This season has brought us some change at the 118 in the form of Buck having to be put on medical leave. It looked like he wasn’t going to survive the lightning strike at first, but that episode gave us a reminder of just how integral Buck is to the 118. If it wasn’t for him, Bobby and Eddie wouldn’t be with the family—and that’s what the 118 is.
So far, we have no idea if the series will be renewed. When it comes to the live ratings, it would be crazy for FOX not to renew it. However, there are other matters at play. This renewal could go down to the wire just as we saw last year!
