If you were a fan of the 1987 psychosexual thriller movie Fatal Attraction, then you’ll be happy to know Paramount+ has brought us a reimagined series of the same name! Though the production, starring Michael Douglas, Glenn Close, and Anne Archer, initially caused controversy when it was released, it became the highest-grossing film of 1987 worldwide in the box office. Who stars in the show?

The reimagined story takes place across two timelines. First is the present with Daniel Gallagher having spent the last 15 years in prison following the murder of Alexandra Forrest. He gets parole and hopes to reconnect with his family, and prove his innocence, per the synopsis. Then we go back to 2008 when Daniel and Alexandra meet for the first time, their affair begins, and the threat it has on his life with his wife Beth.

Joshua Jackson plays the role of Daniel, a deputy DA who becomes the object of Alexandra’s obsession, per Paramount+. Actress Lizzy Caplan plays the obsessed woman. Amanda Peet takes on the role of Daniel’s wife, Beth, who is a loyal wife, loving mother, and successful small business owner. Check out the full cast list below:

Alexandra Cunningham is showrunner, writer, and executive producer, with Kevin J. Hynes also serving as an executive producer and co-developer of the series. Joining them in executive producer roles are Darryl Frank, Justin Falvey, and Silver Tree.

The reimagined story dropped the first three episodes Sunday, April 30, 2023 on Paramount+. Going forward, one new installment will be released until the finale. The last two episodes of the eight-episode season will stream Sunday, May 28, 2023.
